“For the body is
not one member, but many. . . God set the members every one of them in the
body, as it hath pleased him. . . God hath set some in the church, first
apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that
miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of
tongues. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We
know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are
called according to his purpose." (I Corinthians 12:14,
18, 28; Matthew 28:19; and Romans 8:28) |

Statement of
Beliefs 1. Trinity. We
believe that there is one God, a personal conscious Being, and Creator of all
things seen and unseen, eternal (without beginning or end) as three distinct
beings: the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. 2. Holy Bible.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the all-sufficient, inspired and
infallible word of God and should be the only ruling doctrine for daily
living and church administration. We believe that the Holy Bible is the
final standard by which all creeds, doctrines and actions must be
measured. We believe that its scriptures can only be interpreted under
the direction of the Holy Spirit.) 3. Repentance.
We believe that humankind is born into a fallen and sinful state and
every human being has the need for redemption from the fearful penalty of
everlasting perdition for sin. We believe that human beings need
salvation through the new birth experience by repentance and that this is the
only remedy provided for man’s sins. 4. Salvation. We
believe that salvation is the free and gracious gift of God made available to
humankind by Jesus taking the sins of the world upon Himself, to the cross of
5. Baptism. We
believe that full body immersion into water is the type of baptism sanctioned
by the Holy Bible and that this is the type of baptism John bestowed upon
Jesus. (Matthew 3:16, Mark10:39) 6. Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit (Ghost) is the Spirit of God that convicts
the world of sin. We believe that Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost
and Fire which is evidenced by the gift of speaking in tongues. We believe
that the Holy Spirit is like a supernatural agent and divine teacher who
guides and comforts believers. (Luke 3:16, I Corinthians 2:14) 7. Communion. We
believe in taking communion in context with biblical teachings. (I
Corinthians 11:23-25) 8. Worship. We
believe in worshipping God in spirit and in truth and making a joyful noise
unto Him. (Nehemiah 8:6, John 4:23-24) 9. Discipleship.
We believe that the Bible requires born-again Christians to become true
Disciples of Christ and lead others to His Kingdom as they become actively
involved in church activities. We believe that Christians
should dedicate their lives toward God’s service and allow the Holy
Spirit to guide their every activity. We believe that by investing in
God and others, people leave a legacy for Christ and become His true
disciples. |
